Spring Break: Day One

The first day of break found me and Cailyn visiting my good friend, Brenda, and her three little ladies. They are Adalynn-4, Leighton-2, and Willah-6 months (and a couple weeks). Cailyn and Willah are about 6 weeks apart and this was the first time they met:

Willah was fresh off a nap and Cailyn was SO excited to see her that she just kept grabbing her hair, pajamas, and feet- poor Willah! I hope Cailyn doesn't do that too much at daycare....

Apparently, the best way to make friends when you are a baby is to share toys and puffs, Adalynn and Leighton made sure they never ran out of either one :)

They gave each other a kiss while we were there, it was picture perfect.....that is- IF you have your camera ready- DUH! This was the next best thing, Cailyn would just plop her big tush right into Willah's little lap.

We both had a great time, it was a long overdue visit, I miss when B lived right next door to my bedroom in our apartment. After we left Brenda's we headed to Williamsburg to do a little shopping because I literally had NO spring/summer bottoms. It was a successful trip, and not too expensive, plus we picked out some things for baby girl and the hubby. Cailyn slept the whole way home, she was beat! I was jealous, I wanted to take a nap, too....

Later that night when I was checking email and Jerod was watching basketball, we learned our lesson about paying attention:

This is what happens when you don't watch Cailyn near the end table- that would be almost a whole box of kleenexes on the ground- some of them may or may not have also been in her stomach. Whoops.

Cailyn must have been an inspiration- willah was crawling the next day! Thanks so much for coming to visit!
